Odin Vs Valkyrie : Who Played Odin?

The story was inventive and conceived imaginatively. anthony hopkins does a great job playing odin and relative newcomer chris hemsworth makes an appealing thor, even an affable one for guys as well as girls. the rest of the cast was judiciously cast.

The fantasy elements alone were marvelous.anthony hopkins is odin...i cannot imaging another actor portraying him. his performance as odin captures the essence of the character and the delicate balance of ruler verses father. he exudes power with subtle touches of vulnerability.chris hemsworth is outstanding as thor.

Anthony hopkins and renee ruso add a lot of class to the proceedings as thor's parents, odin and frigga. christopher ecclestan is adequately threatening as malekith, though he feels a bit under- developed. and supporting roles by the likes of jamie alexander, ray stephenson and adewale akinnuoye-agbaje are all very well-played, making good work in their secondary roles.

The odinforce (based on the marvel comics energy of the same name) is a powerful mystical energy used by odin in his capacity as king of asgard. it is the source of power for his spear, gungnir, also passed down through the kings of asgard, and is the power source and weapon of the destroyer. it is periodically replenished by entering the odinsleep, a state that leaves the user vulnerable.

But lately she has been gaining greater control over calling her valkyrie powers at will instead of when the need demands it. asgardian physiology superhuman strength superhuman speed superhuman stamina superhumanly dense tissue superhuman durability regenerative healing factor superhuman longevity energy manipulation death sense: as one of the valkyrior danielle has the natural ability to perceive and sense the coming of death. she could perceive a "deathglow" surrounding a person who was in serious danger of dying.

What are these studio exec fools thinking?the best thing about this movie was tessa thompson playing valkyrie. she was another actress totally wasted on a lame sidekick role. why not make her captain marvel?
