Iroh Vs Sokka : What Type Of Chief Is Hakoda?

She is later seen again discussing actions against kuvira's empire, refusing to let her nation get involved in another war under the claim that the fire nation had spent to much of its time (the reigns of her grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather) fighting the other nations, but agreeing to aid when needed in defending the city. avatar: the last airbender chief hakoda (voiced by andré sogliuzzo) is katara and sokka's father and the leader of the southern water tribe. much of sokka's ingenuity in the show is attributed to hakoda's teachings.

Sokka, who is my favorite character from the show, did get to use boomerang, give a fire nation guy a swift kick, and get frozen, using a similar tone sokka uses in the show, "katara! "(annoyed whining voice). that made me smile, a little.

In this "adaption" they are in what looks like a quarry which makes no sense since they are surrounded by the elements needed to fight back with no way of being beaten down as they where in the show.the most glaring problems with the show are with the firebending. which in this version must be done with a source to be able to bend, which in the original was able to be made from internal heat and amplified by the sun, in this version zhao is surprised that iroh can do it with out a source.a failure in all respects.

Instead of anger, iroh based his bending style on the original firebending wisdom of the dragons and teachings of the sun warriors from whom he learned and whose secrets he kept. this philosophy emphasized the beauty and life-giving qualities of fire; thus, iroh firebent without resorting to anger, hate, or lust, unlike his brother, niece and most other firebenders of his time. at the same time, he was able to show truly destructive power when provoked, able to blast through the inner wall of ba sing se with a large and highly charged fire blast.

The people of the water tribes are capable of adapting to many things. they have a sense of community and love that holds them together through anything." — general iroh (avatar: the last airbender, "bitter work") katara has demonstrated to be a formidable opponent to her enemies, able to fight on equal terms with azula and long feng; she eventually outmatched the fire nation princess to demonstrate the extent of her skill.

Enraged by zhao's sacrilege, iroh reveals his mastery of firebending, frightening zhao and his entourage out of the sacred cave. princess yue gives her life to revive the moon spirit. zhao finds out zuko survived and they prepare to fight, but iroh talks zuko out of it and zhao is drowned by waterbenders.

When he did smile, it seemed forced and well, false. sokka looked frightened and uneasy and lost all of his humor. and the fire-benders (with the exception of iroh) could not create fire???

Dev patel is probably the number one worst character, since he looks absolutely nothing like zuko. i either haven't seen or haven't recognized iroh yet. katara looks okay, a little too much like a child, since i'm sure she's supposed to be a teenager in the cartoons.

He, aang, and katara were shocked to see azula standing free and apparently escaped, but zuko explained that she was coming with them in exchange for information about ursa. on the journey to hira'a, sokka battled azula during one of her psychotic episodes and also fought against the mysterious wildlife, such as a giant wolf spirit. after the team camped, they headed to town, where they met noren, noriko, and kiyi.
