Hank Pym Vs Kuiil : Who Was Hank Pym’s Successor?

Dr. darren cross (portrayed by corey stoll), also known as the yellowjacket, is hank pym's former protégé. he attempts to re-create the pym particle formula and sell it to hydra, but is foiled by scott lang, pym, and pym's daughter hope van dyne. as of 2022[update], the character has appeared in the film ant-man; as well as the whih newsfront viral marketing campaign.

Hank pym appears in media set in the marvel cinematic universe (mcu), portrayed by michael douglas, with dax griffin and john michael morris serving as douglas' younger body doubles in flashback sequences. this version originally operated as ant-man and an agent of s.h.i.e.l.d. decades earlier until his wife janet van dyne / wasp seemingly died during one of their missions and he discovers s.h.i.e.l.d.

He was the third cast member publicly confirmed for the series, after pedro pascal and gina carano. actress and stuntwoman misty rosas provided the physical performance for kuiil, calling it "the most amazing job of my life". rosas had a cold reading audition for the part in the summer of 2018, though she arranged via her agent to come in early and briefly review the script and familiarize herself with the material.

I had some hope for this film though, i think paul rudd is hilarious and the overall commitment to a more comedic cast, director and writers seemed like a promising fit for marvel instead of action guys writing comic relief.ant-man begins with a young michael douglas, playing dr. hank pym, arguing with some members of shield about an invention of his and him not sharing it with them. you find out early that his wife is dead and he has no intentions of letting shield use his application, in fear of what could happen if it gets into the wrong hands. then fast forward to present day, scott lang, who is in prison for burglary, (rudd) gets released in a pretty amusing scene.

An enjoyable romp. paul rudd plays scott lang / ant-man as the bit of a loser but with potential. michael douglas plays dr. hank pym as the clever guy who needs scott lang's help.

In the aftermath of a failed mission in germany with captain america whilst assisting the avengers, scott lang (paul rudd) finds himself under house arrest and tries his best to bond with his daughter without leaving the house. however, when dr hank pym (michael douglas) and his daughter hope van dyne (evangeline lilly) learn that pym's wife janet (michelle pfeiffer) can send messages to lang as a result of his last visit to the quantum time vortex they recruit lang to help locate janet whom husband and daughter believe is still alive. but their rescue efforts are hampered slightly by a rogue group who want to steal their technology and a 'ghost' whom blames pym for her life-changing characteristics...peyton reed is back in the director's chair for this sequel and once again 'fun' and 'entertainment' are the primary objectives here and boy does this film do a great job on both fronts.

Esposito, carano, weathers, and abtahi returned for the second season. several actors appear as characters from previous star wars media, including timothy olyphant as cobb vanth, temuera morrison as boba fett, katee sackhoff as bo-katan kryze, rosario dawson as ahsoka tano, and mark hamill as luke skywalker. other recurring co-stars for the season include amy sedaris as peli motto, reprising her role from the first season; misty rosas, the on-set performer for kuiil in the first season, as the frog lady; mercedes varnado as koska reeves; and ming-na wen as fennec shand, also reprising her first season role.
