Frodo Baggins Vs Samwise Gamgee : Who Made The Best Frodo Any Tolkien Fan Could Ever Ask For?

The actors were all beyond awesome, especially ian mckellen and christopher lee. elijah wood makes the best frodo any tolkien fan could ever ask for. liv tyler surprised me; she was excellent as arwen.

Elijah wood does a good job as "frodo", who is supposed to be the protagonist of the movie.but as i said earlier ,too many characters shifts the onus from him and spoils the movie.as a result we fail to feel with him.the other characters are also played well.i enjoyed the characters of aragon and samwise gamgee very much.the special effects in the movie is also not that special. in fact it is below par.it certainly should have done better, with the technology available today.none of the creatures in this movies looks real, except gollum.but then he is not shown fully.having said this, this movie has a couple of impressive scenes,like a river in the form of horse riders washing away the nasguls, the 9 dead/living kings.then there is a fight between gandalf, the grey and his mentor saruman.one more thing, the sceneries in this film are excellent.i give lotr a 7 out of 10.the movie has a lot of good things but they fail to produce a whole that is greater than the sum of the parts, a feature that is the hallmark of truly great movies.

Disney's 1993 adaptation of mark twain's "adventures of huckleberry finn" is a fun-spirited adventure. elijah wood stars as the title character, and his charm and charisma serves the film well, as it did the other good films of his youth ("north", "radio flyer" and others). courtney vance does a fine job as huck's friend jim, the runaway slave.stephen sommers ("the mummy", "the mummy returns") wrote the screenplay and directed this version, and he does a good job at capturing the spirit of the south.

Ian mckellen makes a stupendous gandalf the grey. viggo mortensen makes aragorn come to life. i thought sean astin made a nice, very loyal and simple samwise gamgee.

We would be in frodo's position.i hated samwise gamgee. he was the stereotypical annoying character every fantasy film has to have. (read jar jar binks).

Greg cipes as michelangelo is a perfect choice, his voice and personality fits mikey very well. sean astin is my second favourite raphael because this new raphael has more of a personality then the other incarnations of raphael, this raphael as more of a soft side then the other raphaels, this new raph does still act like a hothead but he has a lot more character then the other raphs. the rest of the cast is fantastic and i'm excited to see new cast members take on classic tmnt characters.
