Space Ghost : Who Produced A Live-Action Talk Show?

The 2012–2013 season began on august 23, 2012, in wheeling, west virginia and ran until february 18, 2013, in chattanooga, tennessee. disney produced a live-action talk show in which the two characters (as cartoons) interview celebrities, similarly to space ghost coast to coast, which began airing in december 2010 as a two-minute talk-show format featuring real-life celebrities such as tony hawk, randy jackson, neil patrick harris, seth rogen, taylor swift, andy samberg, tom bergeron, emma roberts, jack black, regis philbin, howie mandel, david beckham and guy fieri. the show concluded on november 25, 2011.

It's a spoof on old 60s cartoons, late night talk shows, hubris, rivalries, and many other things. space ghost and zorak make for a great duo, with the other guy (can't remember his name now, the masked 'director' who sometimes sings if forced to in zorak's absence) a notable third wheel, even as they're often ready to rip at each other's throats. the comedy is brilliant without even really trying, though i'm sure the writers worked their heads off to get certain scenes down (other times... you can tell they just chucked stuff at the wall, and i mean that as a compliment oddly enough).

Ong before he had his own talk show in the form of adult swim's long running space ghost: coast to coast, space ghost was a superhero created by the legendary alex toth. starring in his own television series from september 1966 through september 1968 on cbs, space ghost (voiced by gary owens) would team up with two kid sidekicks, jan (ginny tyler) and jace (tim matheson), and their monkey friend blip (don messick of scooby-doo), to fight evil every week. different villains would provide different scenarios for our heroes but recurring bad guys like zorak, moltar and brak gave episodes and characters a sense of familiarity.
