Duke becomes an official member of the batman family. after accepting bruce's offer to train under him, duke moves into wayne manor and begins working alongside all of gotham's vigilantes. he is a heavy feature in all-star batman, assisting bruce in dealing with two-face, victor zsasz, hugo strange, and mr.

The pair encounters a less than memorable array of characters, impersonated by ellen barkin as a waitress, gary busey as a gay highway trooper, cameron diaz as a bimbo tv journalist, tim thomerson as a hoodlum, penn jillette as a carnie talker, and christina ricci as a vagabond artist.johnny depp is ideally cast as raoul duke; he's a spitting image of the thompson character in the doonesbury cartoon. thompson and his alter-ego raoul duke are both indebted to the late great comic groucho marx. depp's duke resembles groucho's captain spaulding from "animal crackers."

Based on the recently deceased hunter s. thompson's book of the same name, johnny depp plays raul duke, a hedonistic, slightly deranged journalist heading to vegas with his attorney, played by benicio del toro. the film essentially depicts the two characters searching for the american dream and lamenting it's loss on a drug fuelled journey of mayhem. having been written in the afterglow of the swinging 60s, raoul duke and his attorney choose to follow acid guru tim leary's advice and 'turn on, tune in, drop out', seeking a chemical enlightenment, which ultimately seems to be a false promise.

Jonathan bennett plays bo duke and does not a bad job. the script isn't great and they tend to be poking fun and often looking a little less intelligent then they should but that being said he does a decent job. i think he does at least as good a job as sean william scott did.

He was the third cast member publicly confirmed for the series, after pedro pascal and gina carano. actress and stuntwoman misty rosas provided the physical performance for kuiil, calling it "the most amazing job of my life". rosas had a cold reading audition for the part in the summer of 2018, though she arranged via her agent to come in early and briefly review the script and familiarize herself with the material.

Esposito, carano, weathers, and abtahi returned for the second season. several actors appear as characters from previous star wars media, including timothy olyphant as cobb vanth, temuera morrison as boba fett, katee sackhoff as bo-katan kryze, rosario dawson as ahsoka tano, and mark hamill as luke skywalker. other recurring co-stars for the season include amy sedaris as peli motto, reprising her role from the first season; misty rosas, the on-set performer for kuiil in the first season, as the frog lady; mercedes varnado as koska reeves; and ming-na wen as fennec shand, also reprising her first season role.

This is depp's second performance as thompson after portraying him as raoul duke in the underrated fear and loathing in las vegas. here he is drawn out on alcohol where humour plays a part, but he grows suspicious when the poor are degraded and the rich only dominate. arron eckhart plays hal sanderson, a crooked businessman who seeks kemp's services.
