Comedian Vs Nite Owl : Which Actor Portrayed Edward Blake In Ps. I Love You?

Jeffrey dean morgan (burning zone, dead & breakfast, p.s. i love you, supernatural, & grey's anatomy) looks like javier bardem's twin brother, it's really crazy how much they are alike. i've never really seen anything else from this guy but he was very impressive as edward blake / the comedian in his supporting role.

Having seen greys anatomy, supernatural, watchmen, and tons of other films or shows featuring jeffrey dean morgan, i know he's fantastic at acting. but he is so perfect as negan that it's unbelievable. the smile, charisma, and brutality he portrays is absolutely breathtaking, and he stole every scene he was in.

Patrick wilson was excellent as the insecure nite owl, billy cruddup gives a perfect monotonous genius to the difficult manhattan and jeffrey dean morgan creates a truly terrifying yet reasonable comedian. even model malin akerman gives a good turn at the pretty generic silk spectre. the only real let downs in the cast is matthew goode as ozymandias, who just isn't as physically powerful and domineering as his "perfect" character should be.the soundtrack for the film, like almost all the elements of the film, is superbly done, right down to the haunting opening montage to bob dylan's "the times they are a-changin'" to "the sound of silence" playing in the funeral scene, to jimi hendrix's cover of "all along the watchtower" in the penultimate scene.

Nite owl, played superbly by patrick wilson, was a joy; his awkwardness and sexual impotence translated perfectly onto the screen. dr manhattan i felt had the most exposition and it really helped the film, i think. when he was so brutally transformed into a god, i literally gasped.

However, her haircut annoyed me in this movie.patrick wilson was the nite owl in watchmen and is scheduled to star in a cbs drama entitled a gifted man in this upcoming 2011–12 season. i watched the exclusive preview below and it reminded me a lot of the mentalist if patrick jane worked in a hospital, instead of with the cbi. surprisingly a lot of familiar faces in this "iffy" preview.the movie phone booth came to mind when i saw hard candy.

He knows his superhero movies and his horror films xd good stuff!!!! black manta turned out to be a really cool character! i thought he was only the movie opener but i was very wrong.patrick wilson as ocean master... wow... what a performance!
