Alex Krycek : Who Throws The Smoking Man To His Death?

"requiem" attempted to bring closure to several aspects of the series. in one sequence, alex krycek throws the smoking man down a flight of stairs, presumably to his death. nicholas lea, the actor who portrayed krycek, noted: "that's one of the character's great moments, when i get to push bill davis down a set of stairs.

Krycek is a russian-american, the son of cold war immigrants, who makes his first appearance in the season two episode "sleepless", where as a young fbi special agent, he is assigned as a temporary investigation partner to fox mulder. krycek proceeds to work with mulder and attempts to gain his trust. it later becomes evident, however, that krycek is actually an undercover agent working for the smoking man.

Caught my attention right away. so i started to watch every episode from season 1 and up.david duchovny's character is not your typical badass, in fact, in many ways what makes his character so lovable is that he's just an average guy just like all of us who if pushed enough can tick.gillian anderson is awesome as his sidekick dana scully, who specializes in science and medicine to try to reason out mulders work in medical terms.all the characters from assistant director skinner, to cigarette smoking man, alex krycek, deep throat, to mr. x, they're all so well done. a lot of thought went into each episode.
