Lyta Alexander : Who Was Completely One-Dimensional In This Movie?

Even michael o'hare improved as the movie went on, but unfortunately once you've experienced bruce boxleigner in charge, there's no going back, he just went in, boots and all, and was exceptional.and what a bit of luck patricia tallman grew her hair and at the same time turned lyta alexander into an altogether deeper, nicer and more rounded character. in this movie she was entirely one-dimensional.i am an enormous fan of babylon 5 - but i won't be watching this again!

She has that sarcasm, that wit, that double-edged personality that is at once volatile and lovable. sadly, though, the "babylon 5" pilot movie has an incredibly dull story involving assassination. patricia tallman-- who never seriously returned to the series until much later-- fortunately got much better with age as lyta alexander, who here is little more than a whiny, tiresome telepath.

Later in the episode, after the aged and abandoned babylon 5 was destroyed and the drakh influence on centauri prime was exposed and eliminated, zack joined the rangers and became centauri emperor vir cotto's assistant. lyta alexander was played by patricia tallman. lyta was introduced in the pilot episode "the gathering" as a telepath assigned to the babylon 5 space station by the psi corps, a fictional organization providing support to telepaths and monitoring their activity.
