Belle Vs Cheshire Cat : Who Was Not Able To Pull Off Belle?

Firstly i have to say it, have we been watching the same movie? emma watson just wasn't able to pull off belle, she did her best but i didn't buy it. her smile never feels sincere or have much warmth in it, her default expression always seems angry, which is also out of her control but not the right fit for belle.

Characters like the dormouse and the mad hatter have been disneyfied into cuteness. the only character that still is like the original is the cheshire cat—voiced by stephen fry. johnny depp is lost in makeup, costume, and bad writing.

I went into this film with low expectations. beauty and the beast was one of my favourite disney films as a child and i really connected to the character of belle (the brunette with brains).fortunately, i was incredibly impressed. although typically i find emma watson wooden and self-conscious as an actress, she did redeem herself as the film went on, with her sweetness and gusto.

And when this kid smiles the screen lights up.rupert grint is delightful as harry's sardonic buddy ron weasley and emma watson nearly steals the film as their overachieving friend hermione granger. three cheers to the film makers for giving three unknown child actors the top billing they deserve.the strong cast of veteran actors includes richard harris as the wise headmaster dumbledore and robbie coltrane as the lovable giant hagrid. alan rickman is wonderfully villainous as professor snape and zoe wanamaker has just the right touch of girls gym teacher as flying instructor madame hooch.
