Hercules Vs Zeus : Who Proves Why He’s The Best Man For The Job?

This is one rocking movie and liam neeson once again proves why when it comes to tense, gritty, grounded action, he's the best man for the job. with a resume including oscar winning material such as schindler's list and not to forget the fact that he's trained batman, obi wan, the a-team, darth vader and he is both aslan and zeus, in short, liam neeson is just one awesome dude!unlike jason statham, arnie, stallone and the other usual action suspects, neeson brings a certain vulnerable quality to his roles, makes them human, believable, which of course just pulls you in as the viewer. his first real foray into the world of action was taken.

Darkman (peyton westlake) is a fictional antihero and the protagonist of the 1990 superhero film darkman and its sequels, darkman ii: the return of durant and darkman iii: die darkman die. the character originated in a short story written by the film's director, sam raimi, titled "the darkman" and is based on the universal pictures' movie monsters while retaining traits of the dc comics world war ii disfigured hero the unknown soldier and the superpowers of the dc supervillain clayface. he was portrayed by liam neeson in the original film and arnold vosloo in the sequels.

The visual style of darkman is extremely good - helped along by excellent direction from evil dead bloke sam raimi. at certain points the city landscape reminds you of gotham from the batman films.the idea of being able to change your face to look like somebody elses, only for 99 minutes, is a great idea. the bit where larry drake's character comes face to face with himself at the revolving doors is execellent.looking back on this film from nearly a decade ago it still surprises me that liam neeson is in the lead role.
