Galadriel Vs Gandalf : Who Seems To Have Lost Something In The Ring?

This is a movie experience in every sense.the portrayal of bilbo baggins from bagg end in the shire is the unlikely hero played by martin freeman at first could not seem more unlikely as the british office star is funny just to look at but believe me you can take him seriously too in the final scenes he will break your heart and moments later you'll be bursting with laughter causing you to almost wet yourself from his comic timing and general mannerisms. sir ian mckellan as a younger gandalf is as strong and endearing as his previous efforts and it brings a level of comfort to see possibly more of him on screen in this trilogy. the leader of the dwarfs aptly named thorin oakenshield is a fantastic british actor named richard armitage who i had not had the pleasure of watching before playing roles in captain america and even uk cult series the vicar of dibley is certainly a presence in his own right in this role.

And then fell to sauron because the ring betrayed him (not true either). sauron then killed celebrimbor's family (which is quite the deed, seeing as he never married because he loved galadriel). what actually happened was that celebrimbor held sauron off at eregion, where the other rings were forged, until he was killed and what few rings were left were taken by sauron.6) talion raises another orc army.

Freeman is perfect as timid, unadventurous everyman bilbo. mckellan delivers another top notch, nuanced performance as gandalf. i also really enjoyed barry humphries' performance as the sick, delusional goblin king.

The bonds of friendship felt between the fellowship are easily apparent in particular between frodo played superbly by elijah wood and gandalf (sir ian mckellen) is real and deeply felt. all the others actors and actresses are terrific including sean asrin as samwise gamgee, merry brandybuck (dominic monaghan) and perrigrin tock (billy boyd) elf witch galadriel (cate blanchett) gimli the drawf played by john-rhys-davis who provides comic relief, legalos the elf (orlando bloom) aragorn (viggo mortensen) boromir (sean bean) lord elrond (hugo weaving) bilbo baggins (ian holm) the elf arwen (liv tyler) and sauraman (christopher lee) play all there characters with real understanding and depth and perfectly represent the essence and tone of the characters in the book.the special effects like digitally enhanced and cgi are equally stunning like the fire demon in moria and the trolls making them seem real. sufficed to say jackson set himself a enormous task and has achieved it.

In an unexpected journey (2012), the one ring was found by bilbo baggins (portrayed by martin freeman). in the extended version of the succeeding film the desolation of smaug (2013), gandalf discovers that sauron took the ring of thrór (a dwarf-lord) from thráin (antony sher), who revealed in a flashback scene his possession of the ring during a siege of moria. in the concluding film the battle of the five armies (2014), galadriel (blanchett) reveals nenya in rescuing gandalf (mckellen) from sauron (benedict cumberbatch), aided by saruman (christopher lee) and elrond (weaving), who is wearing vilya, the ring of air.

If gandalf knows sauron has returned, and he knows bilbo has a magic ring, then why can't he put 2 and 2 together?

It's just plain silly to see these two venerable, powerful old men squeaking across the marble floors. and the absurdity comes to a climax when saruman forces gandalf to break-dance circles on the floor. it's laughable when it should be supremely unfunny.

After aragorn summoned the dead of dunharrow to fight for him, legolas saw them terrify the corsairs of umbar from their ships at pelargir. galadriel's prophecy was fulfilled: as legolas heard the cries of seagulls, he experienced the sea-longing — the desire to sail west to valinor, the "blessed realm", latent among his people. he fought in the battle of the pelennor fields and at the black gate, and watched as sauron was defeated and barad-dûr collapsed.

Sauron attacked with overwhelming force. during the battle, the ring was destroyed, and sauron and his forces were utterly vanquished. upon sauron's defeat, aragorn was crowned as king elessar ("elfstone", a quenya name given to him by arwen's grandmother, galadriel), and he married arwen at midsummer.
