Sydney Bristow : Who Plays Sydney In Daredevil?

Jennifer garner (felicity, daredevil) paints former double-agent sydney as a sensitive woman who has been lied to virtually all her life by people she trusted (mainly her mother and father) and is now trying to make sense of the world. she is believable whether she is sobbing over a meeting with her mother or kicking the ass of some anonymous bad-guy. ron rifkin plays the smarmy and sinister arvin sloan, head of sd-6, who has an agenda of his own.

Jenifer garner was made to play sydney bristow. victor garber, michael vartan and ron rifkin bring their great acting chops to this show. i truly believe the talents in this show were the characters of marshall flinkman and eric weiss as portrayed by kevin weisman and greg grunberg.

Even though he is not field-trained, he has participated in missions on several occasions. jack bristow (victor garber) is sydney's father, and also works for sd-6, but he is actually a double agent for the cia. in season 1, his relationship with sydney is strained.

Sydney is played by jennifer garner, who is to star in daredevil (which is expected to be released next feb.) her character is forced to go through emotional turmoil while attempting to gain justice for the assassination of her fiancé (daniel hecht) with no one to turn to sydney turns to the real cia, and she becomes a double agent. her cia handler michael vaughn (played by michael vartan, who has appeared in never been kissed and the recent release 1 hr. photo) ends up being one of the only people in her life who she can trust and turn to.

Yes, some of the jokes are a bit predictable, but the innocence and sweetness in this movie are undeniable! jennifer garner, best known for her ongoing role as sydney bristow on abc's "alias" and as electra in "daredevil", is wonderful as a comedic heroine! she is charming, she is beautiful, and she plays goofy unlike many others.

It is well-written and the acting is fantastic. jennifer garner as sydney bristow, victor garber as her father jack, lena olin as her formerly-assumed-dead mother irina (too bad she was only in five episodes after season two), mia maestro as sydney's half-sister nadia, and the rest of the cast do a wonderful job. the only reason i don't give "alias" 10/10 stars is because of season 5.
