Luke Skywalker Vs Poe Dameron : Who Plays Han Solo?

Mark hamill is still excellent as the hero luke skywalker (hamill is not to blame for the problems with his storyline). harrison ford is still perfectly cast as the cocky, but at times insecure han solo, he is good looking with charisma in spades, whilst carrie fisher looks great in that gold bikini, and is ok in the action scenes on endor. david prowse does what is need of him as darth vader, but it's still james earl jones who makes darth vader.unfortunately with the exception of ford, the success of these movies type cast them and despite starting in some interesting movies with a good story and good performances.

Fearing the imminent turn to the dark side of ben solo, luke raises his lightsaber to strike down a sleeping kylo ren. luke skywalker, the most powerful jedi that brought balance to the force, gives up hope to kill the son of his best friend han solo and leia organa, his own sister, despite infringing on the very principle that defines a jedi. this is an unreasonable character trait that does not fit the luke skywalker that everyone grew to love from the original trilogy.

-actors/acting: all the actors and actresses do a good job, but i have to say that mark hamill (luke skywalker) has some really good scenes where he stands out. adam driver (kylo), who received loads of criticism, did a fantastic job. it's not his fault that his character was a cry-baby in the last movie, he does what the director/writers ask of him and he nails it.

The light saber battle has a big problem; there is no way that luke skywalker could defeat darth vader the way it occurs in jedi. mark hamill's slow and monotonous sword strokes are supposed to force vader to his knees. there is no physical reason for vader to do this.

Mark hamill tried hard to prove himself as a rising actor afterreturn of the jedi back in '83, but alas, the poor dope couldn't find anything that would bring him back to the same superstardom hereceived as luke skywalker. with the exception of his truly excellent voice-over talent as the joker in batman: the animated series, hamill had to work in low-budget flix, like time runner. in what looks like another terminator-style sci-fi flick, hamill plays a soldier from (where else?)

Inside llewyn davis is a film by the coen brothers starring oscar isaac as the title character. this film has its moments where it is seemingly a one man show with different characters coming into scenes then exiting. the acting is very strong and there is some sort of sympathy we feel for llewyn davis, although his character is quite scummy (perhaps it's the affect of oscar).although in the end the story starts off where it leaves off feeling somewhat cheated.

However, the first order who have risen from the ashes are keen to finish the task started by darth vader and destroy skywalker and the republic for ever.resistance pilot poe (oscar isaac) meets village elder loe (max von syddow) to collect the much sought-after map. poe is captured however, when storm troopers, led by kylo ren (adam driver), storm the village.ren tortures poe, who reveals that his droid, bb8 now has the map, but as no idea of it's whereabouts. stormtrooper (john boyega), a conscientious objector, frees poe, who gives him the name finn.

Poe (oscar isaac),finn (john boyega) and rey (daisy ridley) are disney's hope to recreate a cast as iconic as that of luke, leia, and han solo - which they just may of done. the relatively unknown actors gave a black canvas which no one knew what each actor would paint. but to many people's surprise, finn did not feel like the main antagonist that the posters made him out to be...
