Hulk Vs Jean Grey : Which Issue Featured The Hulk’s First Battle With The Thing?

"the incredible hulk" is one of those shows that deserves a better reputation than it has. people remember the campy elements such as a green painted lou ferrigno growling (growls provided by character actor charles napier) and throwing things about. what they forget is the heartbreaking story of the hulk's alter ego dr. david banner (played by the always-appealing bill bixby).

When i first heard about the incredible hulk coming out again i thought it would be a sequel of the first one with eric bana, but when i heard they had brought in edward norton i knew then that this is going to be a different type of film and i was right. the hulk looked a lot more realistic than it did in the first one and instead of having it just about bruce banner and how the hulk was destroying his life, they shown how it effected other characters as well most notably betty ross.overall, all the acting was superb especially edward norton (the hulk), liv tyler (betty ross), tim roth (emil blonsky) and william hurt (general 'thunderbolt' ross), the cameo from the original hulk (lou ferrigno) brought humour to the film.so my rating of this is a good 9/10

Also the appearance of samuel sterns (tim blake nelson) indicates hulk villain "the leader" might be a future hulk sequel. tony stark's comments open the gateway for an avengers film.the film itself is filled with great action sequences. the computer created battle between tim roth's abomination and edward norton's hulk, was in my opinion, one of the greatest fight sequences ever filmed.

Heat beams: gladiator is capable of projecting highly concentrated beams of energy from his eyes. these beams are capable of reaching extremely high temperatures. the maximum temperature his beams can reach is unknown, but they can reach temperatures hotter than that of stars as they were shown able to burn through hulk's skin.

In ten minutes of film, the titan beats hulk (mark ruffalo) mercilessly and without mercy, decimates asgardians and ends loki (tom hiddlestone) and thor (chris hemsworth) without making the slightest effort. this is the point at which, we buy the seriousness of the situation and the grandeur and seriousness of the villain.from there, as never before, the universe is fully explored as we follow the villain in search of the jewels of infinity across the galaxy. thor's encounter with the guardians of the galaxy and the split of the group in two, with thor, rocket and the teenager groot going to nidavellir, where eitri, the dwarf (peter dinklage) would manage to make a new hammer for thor, with which he he could defeat thanos and the others by going to knowhere, where the collector (benício del toro) keeps the jewel of reality.

These issues were later collected in trade paperback form under the title from the ashes. the story revolves around cyclops and the newly introduced madelyne pryor, a commercial airline pilot who is not only physically identical to jean grey, but survived a traumatic airliner crash at exactly the same moment that jean died. pryor's transformation into dark phoenix is revealed to be an illusion by mastermind, seeking revenge for what jean grey did to him during the dark phoenix saga.
