Apocalypse Vs Logan : Who Has A Range Of Energy Manipulation And Projection Capabilities?

Celestial energy manipulation: apocalypse seems to have a range of energy harnessing and projecting capabilities, either naturally derived or based on celestial technology built into his physical frame. he can use these metaphysical forces to accomplish a great many facilities; such as illusion & memory conjuration, matter reconstruction, healing as well as total physical restoration of damaged or destroyed bodily tissues. force-fields: ability to create nearly impenetrable force fields energy blasts: apocalypse can project raw destructive energy from anywhere on his person, be it as concussive blasts from his hands and eyes or even full body energy waves.

Apocalypse (oscar isaac) is the world's oldest mutant, dating back to ancient egypt and beyond. he's a mutant of immense power who, as the movie opens, is having his essence transferred into a new host mutant which gives him a couple benefits: (1) a form of immortality and (2) access to his host mutant's abilities, adding them to apocalypse's existing roster. he's betrayed in ancient times and left trapped under the rubble of a collapsed pyramid in stasis before he's uncovered in the early 1980's and reawakened.

The incident doesn't go unnoticed by his co-workers who report it to the authorities. an unfortunate encounter drives erik mad with rage and his resulting vulnerability is soon exploited by apocalypse (oscar isaac), who recruits him as his fourth horseman after storm (alexandra shipp), angel (ben hardy) and psylocke (olivia munn). in a powerful display of his newly enhanced powers, magneto desecrates the site of auschwitz and threatens to build a new world for apocalypse.

Hugh jackman is without a doubt the only actor who should ever play this character. sir patrick stewart also is very good in the film. charles xavier is a very hurt and very sad man in logan, i think stewart really portrays xavier as that hurt man very very well.

Hugh jackman plays the title role in "logan" (wolverine's chosen name), a dark, violent story in the future where the surviving x-men have disbanded; and jackman takes whatever side jobs he can get to support himself and the elderly, frail professor xavier (played by patrick stewart). it is a bleak existence for both men. stewart needs drugs to keep him from having seizures that produce psychic blasts of energy that can kill people and level a small city; and jackman's healing factor is severely diminished due to something poisoning his body.the former teacher and student are barely getting by when both get the chance to become heroes again.

I'm happy to say that fox and director james mangold pulled it off with flying colors. logan is the perfect sendoff for hugh jackman, who has played wolverine in nine movies over seventeen years, and it's hard to see how anyone can replace him (and you know they will eventually). logan is a character driven drama that evokes classic westerns like shane and unforgiven, while still being a superhero movie.

But, with a decreasing healing factor, logan goes down and stays there for about 30 seconds. if you are a fan of the character, this is absolutely heartbreaking to see. he then gets up (slowly) and gets smacked around by these guys as he slowly kills them, then finally goes rage mode to finish them off, having sustained several injuries that don't seem to be healing too quickly.

Inside llewyn davis is a film by the coen brothers starring oscar isaac as the title character. this film has its moments where it is seemingly a one man show with different characters coming into scenes then exiting. the acting is very strong and there is some sort of sympathy we feel for llewyn davis, although his character is quite scummy (perhaps it's the affect of oscar).although in the end the story starts off where it leaves off feeling somewhat cheated.

However, the first order who have risen from the ashes are keen to finish the task started by darth vader and destroy skywalker and the republic for ever.resistance pilot poe (oscar isaac) meets village elder loe (max von syddow) to collect the much sought-after map. poe is captured however, when storm troopers, led by kylo ren (adam driver), storm the village.ren tortures poe, who reveals that his droid, bb8 now has the map, but as no idea of it's whereabouts. stormtrooper (john boyega), a conscientious objector, frees poe, who gives him the name finn.

Poe (oscar isaac),finn (john boyega) and rey (daisy ridley) are disney's hope to recreate a cast as iconic as that of luke, leia, and han solo - which they just may of done. the relatively unknown actors gave a black canvas which no one knew what each actor would paint. but to many people's surprise, finn did not feel like the main antagonist that the posters made him out to be...
