Poe Dameron Vs Scavenger : Who Stars As The Desert Scavenger?

The newer generation is represented by daisy ridley, john boyega and a sublime adam driver. daisy ridley plays a desert scavenger who's destiny inevitably is what we are going to learn about in the movies to come. it is a little disappointing to see the brilliant oscar isaac restricted to a few scenes with a bit of smart trigger happy dialogue bits as is domnhall gleesons' general hux.

Daisy ridley plays a wondrous scavenger in rey, who really is the heart and hope of the force awakens, giving us a true female hero for this generation. john boyega plays a runaway stormtrooper named fn217, or aka finn, and comes across annoying at times, but plays it in a real "star warsy" way that's effective. but the one to talk about is adam driver who plays the emotionally corrupt villain kylo ren, who comes across so stellar that in his character's desires to become the next darth vader, you actually wish he was as he nails the star wars villain with humor and class as good as any before him.

The film focuses on rey, played exceptionally well by daisy ridley, as its central character but the supporting cast is great too. john boyega is excellent as finn, a former stormtrooper turned good samaritan, and oscar isaac has a fantastic turn as fighter pilot poe dameron. like the o3's cast these characters are great on their own and they interact well with each other.

One of the stormtroopers is suddenly reluctant to continue massacring the resistance outpost. he doesn't even have a proper name, until poe finds him and christens him finn (john boyega). poe and finn attempt to escape in an x-wing fighter but a new order pilot shoots them down.

On a mission to get information back to the resistance, pilot poe dameron (oscar isaac) is captured by the first order but not before he passes that information on to his droid, bb-8. as the first order kills everyone in the village poe was in, one of the stormtroopers (later named fin and played by john boyega) develops a conscience and wants nothing more than to leave the order. and so he helps poe escape.fin and poe crash with fin the only apparent survivor.

He jump starts the path to us meeting the rest of new characters such as john boyega's finn whom he shares great banter and energy with. boyega really brings a charismatic and emotional weight to his role as a stormtropper who is desperately trying to break free from the shackles of fate forced upon him.harrison ford reprises his role as han solo and perfectly slides back into the character that made him a star, he scenes with peter mayhew returning as co-pilot chewbacca really bring a welcomed nostalgia, this is turned up even higher when we meet leia and old sparks fly.kylo ren the antagonist of this new era played by adam driver brings a multi layered performance to the table, successfully avoiding the one dimensional trope of villains that run rampant on our screens. his actions undoubtedly questionable but with motives that you will perhaps even sympathize with.who really shines brightest though is daisy ridley as rey, a scavenger on the planet of jakku who longs for adventure and there isn't a scene i can recall where i felt she missed her mark.

Daisy ridley plays rey, a scavenger on the desert planet of jakku. she spends her time in what looks like a junkyard filled with crashed and discarded vehicles from episodes 4-6 and she harvests what parts she can to sell to a junk dealer to get enough food to survive. john boyega plays a character who comes to be called finn, a young man who's conflicted about where his loyalties lie, but who ends up joining forces with rey on a mission – slash – adventure more dangerous and important than either of them ever imagined or even desired.

Rey is a young scavenger on tatooine with a mysterious past. finn is a runaway storm trooper and potential love interest of rey. kylo ren is the grandson of darth vader and has turned to the dark side.
