Rumors of gamora (saldana) having personality or appearing in this film have been grossly exaggerated, but drax (bautista), groot (diesel), rocket (cooper), and yondu are the side character lesser films dream of. they each have carved out their own comedic space. their lines and shenanigans are uniquely identifiable.

Chris evans does a great job as c.a., selling the whimpy steve rogers without taking it too far and making a believable transition from that to super-soldier. i was rooting for him all the way. i loved all of the supporting characters, which include the likable scientist stanley tucci and the super-sexy love interest.

It stars chris evans as steve rogers / captain america alongside scarlett johansson, sebastian stan, anthony mackie, cobie smulders, frank grillo, emily vancamp, hayley atwell, robert redford, and samuel l. jackson. in the film, captain america joins forces with black widow (johansson) and falcon (mackie) to uncover a conspiracy within the spy agency s.h.i.e.l.d. while facing a mysterious assassin known as the winter soldier (stan).

Chris pratt in a star making performance,is peter quill, kidnapped from earth as a child and now in the employ of a bunch of cosmic bounty hunters. zoe saldana is the green skinned gamora, and deadly assassin and adopted daughter of the tyrant thanos. dave bautista is the truly literal minded drax the destroyer, a brute out to get revenge for the massacre of his family.

Ronan sends an assassin named gamora (zoe saldana) to xandar to retrieve the orb. two bounty hunters named rocket (bradley cooper) and groot (vin diesel) are sent by yondu to capture peter, and take the orb for himself. drax (dave buatista) a prisoner on xandar wants to kill gamora, because ronan killed his wife and daughter.

Captain marvel directors anna boden and ryan fleck were present for the filming of her scenes in endgame and gave danvers's characterization in the film their blessing. karen gillan as nebula: an adopted daughter of thanos who was raised with gamora as siblings. after being previously featured as an antagonist or an anti-hero in previous mcu films, nebula undergoes a redemption arc in the film where she makes amends for her past actions, including an encounter with a past version of herself, with gillan adding that she is "staring her former self in the face and it's really clear how far she's come from that angry, bitter and twisted person.

At one point during the battle on titan (thanos's home planet), iron man, doctor strange, and the guardians of the galaxy have thanos held down and they nearly remove his gauntlet (which makes no sense in the first place because at this point thanos has four feakin infinity stones). as they are removing the glove from thanos's hand, star-lord finds out that thanos killed gamora earlier in the movie. star-lord then starts punching him and this wakes him up from mantis's mind powers and this time he demolishes them before going on to destroy half the galaxy.
