Cheetah Vs Sinestro : What Can Only People With Exceptional Willpower Use?

Later it was learned that he had been hired by barbara, the previous cheetah, who had lost her powers to sebastian ballesteros and needed the stolen artifacts to regain them. he was also seen grieving at donna troy's funeral after she was briefly killed by a superman robot. the next time he was shown was among a large team of supervillains formed by the wonder woman villain devastation.

She, along with several other enemies, was created by doctor psycho in order to battle wonder woman. the cheetah exclaims, "i've waited decades for this moment", implying that she had battled wonder woman in the 1940s. later in the series, barbara ann minerva becomes the cheetah in an origin similar to that of her new 52 counterpart.

All that hoopla she earned from the first movie has been needlessly squandered with a storyline that is both underwhelming and dragging. the unnecessary revival of the steve trevor character, and motivation of a meglomaniac villain adds tedious minutes to an already unexciting plot. and worse of all, that supposedly climatic big end-fight between wonder woman and cheetah, well, its so terribly imagined, you would have thought it was the work of a first year film school student.

Meanwhile, president barbara gordon and former president hal jordan meet to discuss a major threat. the renegade green lantern sinestro has vowed to kill jordan, who had turned down alan scott's offer to become earth's new green lantern. the flash iv, green lantern kyle rayner, and blackhawk unsuccessfully try to stop sinestro.

After sinestro repairs the jet, hal returns to ferris, where carol begins to berate him for disappearing on the radar, when hammond arrives and attacks the two telepathically. hammond discovers that jordan is the green lantern and begins to torture him telepathically, when sinestro knocks him out. the two disappear, to the confusion of carol, and discuss jordan's training.

Basically the retelling the origin of hal jordan. it is great to see a character that i grew up reading about on the screen, but hal jordan's character seems a bit generic or two dimensional. sinestro's character is much better developed.

Sinestro removes the ion entity from kyle, who is immediately taken over by parallax. parallax then clothes itself in a new uniform (which appears as a combination of kyle's original green lantern costume and the costume hal jordan wore as parallax) and returns to qward with the sinestro corps. parallax becomes a herald of the reborn anti-monitor alongside hank henshaw, superman-prime, and sinestro himself.

Later, sinestro uses the ring to briefly reanimate ro by reconnecting his neural pathways. boodikka and kilowog get into a fight and proceed to tear up a rather spacious and sturdy environment. the scene culminates in a character dying in a very graphic and almost r-rated manner.
