Doctor Octopus Vs Pepper Potts : Who Made A Great Impression As Doctor Otto Octavius?

Alfred molina also makes a great impression as villain dr. otto octavius aka doctor octopus, with hollywood's best cgi effects wizards lending a hand (or four) in making such a memorable character. ironically, the only thing that prevents this from being even better than the first film is raimi's over-reliance on cgi effects, the director repeatedly pushing the action a little too far beyond the realms of believability, even for a superhero film.

While her performance is fine, the character of mary jane starts to feel almost like an antagonist throughout the movie. through her shaky connection with peter, the audience is, at first, confused with her actions, and then just starts to get slightly annoyed with her character.despite all of the great performances throughout spiderman 2, alfred molina completely steals the show, playing a magnificent doctor octopus. although willem dafoe's green goblin/norman osborn was great, molina's performance slightly tops that of dafoe's.

James franco as harry osborn: oscorp's current ceo, norman osborn's son and peter's best friend, who holds his alter-ego spider-man responsible for his father's death. he is also mary jane's ex-boyfriend and still harbors feelings for her. alfred molina as dr. otto octavius / doctor octopus: a scientist working on behalf of oscorp and peter's role model and mentor who goes insane after his failure to create a self-sustaining fusion reaction, which also resulted in the death of his wife, rosie.

Here we have the sequel of sam raimi's spider-man trilogy starring tobey maguire as spider-man, blah blah blah... and since green goblin is dead in the first movie, there's a new villain called doctor octopus played by alfred molina. things changed in the movie.the performances were a lot better than they did in the previous film. tobey maguire suddenly got better and better and even acquainted with this huge character and suddenly critics praise him for his role as the one and only spider-man.

Instead of recreating the missile for the terrorists, tony develops the beginnings of iron man, emotionally and mechanically.iron man is studded with easily recognizable names camping it up for the story. gwyneth paltrow plays tony stark's assistant pepper potts. she runs around in four inch heels, maternally tending to tony's needs.

Big surprise.gwyneth paltrow returns as pepper potts, but instead of being the clueless damsel she was in the previous films, she contributes to the action and even takes part in the film's climax. i liked seeing the feisty and rough side of her character and the fact that she takes out the main villain at the end makes her character as solid as a statue. don cheadle comes back as james rhodes from iron man 2, this time around sporting red, white and blue armor instead of the classic war machine silver and black.

Admittedly, i am a mia farrow fan, but objectively she's wonderful in this movie, and not only because the cartoon unicorn actually looks like her! she's caring, frightened, determined, hopeful, and sweet. if you missed the opening credits and didn't catch the year of release, you'd swear the lead was voiced by gwyneth paltrow—mia sounds exactly like her!

Since the chitauri attack on new york, tony stark (robert downey jr.) has struggled to sleep and, when he does, has terrible nightmares. he fears he will not be able to protect his girlfriend pepper potts (gwyneth paltrow) from the various enemies he has come to have after wearing the iron man armor. one of them, the mandarin (ben kingsley), decides to attack him with full force, destroying his mansion and putting pepper's life at risk.
