Dale Cooper Vs Laura Palmer : Who Recounts His Dream To The Local Police?

The day after his mysterious dream agent cooper recounts it to the local police until they are interrupted because a fight has broken out at the morgue; fbi forensic scientist albert rosenfield is refusing to release laura's body for burial until he has completed his examination; he believes the local coroner is incompetent and has no problems saying so. cooper manages to defuse the situation gaining rosenfield some more time without delaying the funeral. it might have been better had it been delayed as things got rather emotional when bobby briggs steps forward to call everybody hypocrites then threatens to kill james hurley... that is only the start of it; leland palmer, laura's father, throws himself on top of the coffin which proceeds to go up and down as the mechanism for lowering it into the grave malfunctions.

Maybe the last two episodes could involve three characters looking like dale cooper (special agent dale cooper, evil cooper and the new tulpa). after evil cooper manufactured douglas jones to stay outside the black lodge, special agent dale cooper might now get his revenge by using another manufactured tulpa to set a trap for evil cooper. the third thing to analyze is what happened to diane evans.

During the first season of twin peaks, audrey develops a crush on fbi special agent dale cooper (kyle maclachlan). she tries to help him investigate laura's murder by infiltrating a canadian brothel, one-eyed jack's, as a hostess. she remains at the brothel for several episodes that bridge the series' first and second seasons, in danger of her life, while she makes some profoundly disturbing discoveries.

As a result, sheryl lee became a semi-regular addition to the cast, appearing in flashbacks as laura, and becoming a recurring character, laura's cousin maddy ferguson, later in the series (a role which was reportedly written because lynch, impressed with her abilities, wanted to give her a fuller role on the show). she worked again with lynch when she appeared as glinda the good witch in wild at heart (1990). she also starred in the prequel twin peaks: fire walk with me, which elaborated on events leading up to laura palmer's death.

It's the side characters and sub-plots that make no sense.the most confusing scene features david bowie in a strange cameo appearance. kyle maclachlan appears in this scene as special agent dale cooper. cooper stands in front of a security camera and then walks into the security room to look at the camera monitor.

It is true that laura palmer contains elements of cliche and perhaps even a kind of sentimental misogyny (beautiful but occasionally sluttish high-school prom-queen, whose glamorous facade masks hidden tragedy) but this is more a fault of lynch's writing than lee's performance. rarely has an actor put more into a role only to be met with such hostility or indifference at the hands of critics and the public. i still hold out hopes that lee's career will one day enjoy greater visibility and lead her to the roles and the praise she undoubtedly is capable of winning.

Thirdly, benjamin horne understood that the hotel key that was sent by mail is related to special agent dale cooper as well. three different parties might therefore have realized that special agent dale cooper's actions in the past, present and future are going to be very important. there are more elements to analyze.
